The Spanish senate approved Wednesday a controversial online data protection law which critics say will allow political parties to target voters with ads based on their internet browsing history.
Spain had the biggest deficit — 10.6 percent of gross domestic product — of all the eurozone and EU states in 2012, according to final deficit and debt figures published by the European Commission on Monday.
