The best (and worst) of Antonio Banderas

Since first appearing on the big screen in 1982’s Labyrinth of Passions, an early Pedro Almodóvar romp, Antonio Banderas has been nothing if not busy. Almost 100 movies later, during which time he has presumably become the only actor to play Benito Mussolini and Che Guevara, it was announced this week that the 54-year-old is to be awarded the Goya of Honour by the Spanish Film Academy. To honour the actor’s latest accolade The Local has put together a list of some of the best and worst films he has appeared in.
