Lana O'Sullivan

Originally from the UK, Lana has worked all over the world—from Afghanistan to Yemen—as a freelance journalist and also as a tour guide since 2016. Now firmly Berlin-based, she works for The Local, where she manages social media distribution, assists with newsletters, and contributes to reader-focused editorial content. When she isn't engaging with The Local’s audience, she divides her time between investigating the environmental impact of tech for NGOs, working on cyberdefence for NATO, and getting continuously sucked into Berlin’s world-leading electronic music scene—all while perfecting her "Berliner Schnauze."
