In my experience, you do not need to know any Valenciano to live and integrate in the Communidad de Valencia. Some signage may be in Valenciano, but it is usually in Spanish as well. All government communications are in both Valenciano and Spanish - but not in English! Focus on Spanish until you are fluent, and then - maybe - learn Valenciano. I've met a number of people who don't speak English, but none who don't speak Spanish.
