VOTE FOR ME: Spain's general elections may be still nearly a year away but the country’s major political parties are already gearing up for what looks set to be a brutal campaign. Will election year tax cuts and fragile economic growth be enough to keep the ruling Popular Party in power? Will the Socialists manage to win back voters they lost in 2011? Or will the new anti-austerity Podemos party derail Spain’s two-party system and force the big boys into forming a German-style grand coalition? Our prediction? The conservative Popular Party will hold onto power, but only just. For the politics buffs, May's municipal elections could be a taste of what is to come late in the general elections.
