CAFETERIA SUBSIDIES: It's hungry work being a politician in Spain so luckily the parliament will subsidize its cafeteria to the tune of €942,000 ($1,150,000) in 2015. If this leaves you with a bad aftertaste, you can take comfort in the fact that subsides for generous gin and tonics and other alcoholic beverages were scrapped in 2013.
