Ignacio Allende Fernández, known as Torbe, was arrested on Monday along with at least five others for allegedly distributing child pornography, sexually abusing minors and human trafficking, according to El Pais.

The 46-year-old Basque "freak" porn director and actor had reportedly been involved in a network that trafficked women from Eastern Europe, some of whom were as young as 16.

Torbe also allegedly filmed himself having sex with the underage girls and then distributed it online, resulting in the accusation of child pornography.

El Confidencial cited sources who said he could also face rape charges for allegedly forcing women to have sex with him. The newspaper also reported that he is accused of laundering the money earned through the human trafficking network.

The investigation remains open and victims are still being interviewed.

About a decade ago, Torbe was also arrested for including an underage girl in one of his films. But he was released two days later by a judge after arguing that he had been deceived by other people into thinking she was older than she really was.

Torbe, short for the Spanish word torbellino meaning whirlwind, founded the porn site Putalocura.com (Crazybitch.com) in the 1990s. The page quickly started gaining hundreds of thousands of visits each day.

Since then he has starred in and produced dozens of films.

Last year, Torbe told El Confidencial in an interview, however, that he was growing tired of porn and was working on his first non-pornographic film, "The Whoremonger and I".
