It's summer in Spain which means there are a wealth of music festivals to choose from, whatever your taste in tunes. Read on to see The Local's round up of the very best events for 2014.
This Thursday sees one of Spain's biggest and best known music festivals kick off — the legendary FIB in Benicàssim.
Now in its 20th year, the massively popular event has had its ups and down, even staring closure in the face as recently as 12 months ago.
But with a new owner, and acts including Kasabian, Travis and Paolo Nutini on the bill, the 2014 edition of the festival promises to be as big and bold as ever.
Spain's music festivals are not all about indie pop though. Over the next two months, the country's cities and towns will play host to festivals showcasing everything from cool guitar to hot jazz and electronica.
