The live broadcasts of three Spanish television shows were interrupted within the space of single week recently by a man claiming to have information about secrets links between the CIA and the Spanish government.

Carlos Díaz Fernández was able to bypass security measures and gain entrance to the studios of Spanish TV stations Telecinco, La Sexta, and state broadcaster TVE at Torrespaña.

He first appeared on Telecinco’s gossip show Sálvame on April 1st. He interrupted presenter Paz Padilla then was quickly taken away.

The next day, he gained entrance to the set of the current events show Más Vale Tarde broadcast by La Sexta.

A day later, he interrupted TVE’s evening news program El Telediaro. He walked onto the set about 20 minutes into the show carrying a folder and shouting about secret CIA plots.

The security personnel at TVE are still investigating how Díaz Fernández was able to evade the security checks.

"We think he was hiding for a couple of hours in the restroom," a TVE spokesman told Spain's El País newspaper.

According to his personal website, Díaz Fernández worked as a security guard for 6 years. This previous experience with security checkpoints may have helped him infiltrate the television stations.

"This is definitely something that should not have happened," added Ignacio Corrales, the director of TVE. "After this we will be much more alert about security. These things rarely happen, and we understand that it will not happen again."

Most news channels are familiar with Díaz Fernández, as he has sent multiple letters to the media about his theories. He also has a YouTube channel where he posts videos advising the public of possible CIA conspiracies.

This is not the first time that Díaz Fernández has made a scene.

Last September, he protested naked before Queen Sofia outside a Madrid hospital where King Juan Carlos was about to undergo hip surgery.
