Man dies after drinking whisky found in trash

One man has died and at least six others have been hospitalized in southern Spain after drinking from a bottle of whisky they found in a rubbish bin.
The tragedy unfolded early on Friday morning in the southern Spanish city of Almeria, local daily Ideal reported.
Ambulances were called after to the city centre after one of the men affected called for assistance for a friend. Six men were subsequently treated in hospital.
Shortly after, two other men were found in a nearby street, including the deceased — a 30-year-old Moroccan man.
Four people are still in critical condition, while three others remain under observation.
Police are now investigating the case, with intoxication being suspected as the cause of death.
