It could be a scene from a comedy sketch, but this policeman's lapse of concentration is as funny as it is real.
The cock-up took place in the working class neighbourhood of Tamaraceite, in the Canary city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The policeman in question was called in to break up a street fight between two young men.
