Footage of the train accident which killed at least 78 people near the northern Spanish city of Santiago de Compostela shows the high-speed train spinning off the tracks as it comes out of a curve at around 190kph (118mph).

The cause of the accident on Wednesday is still unknown, although one of the drivers has told Spanish officials that the train was going at more than double the speed limit for the stretch of track in question.

So far, 78 people have been confirmed dead.

Over a hundred others were injured in what was Spain's worst train accident in four decades.
