Also attending the funeral of the "Iron Lady" as part of Spain's official representation will be the ex-prime ministers of Spain, José María Aznar and Felipe González.

The final member of the delegation will be the ex-President of the Community of Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, reported El País newspaper on Tuesday.

The prime ministerships of the Popular Party's Aznar and the socialist González coincided with Thatcher's rule in Great Britain.

Some 700 people will attend the funeral of Baroness Thatcher which is to be held at St Paul's Cathedral in London.

The ex-Prime Minister died on April 8th at the age of 87.

She was Britain's first female Prime Minister, holding the position from 1979 to 1990.

Although Lady Thatcher will receive an official state funeral, she will not lie in state.

This is in accordance with her own wishes.
