The results of the draw, which took place in the Swiss town of Nyon, mean there could be three Spanish teams in the semi-finals of Europe's biggest football tournament.

Real Madrid have been pitted against Turkish team Galatasaray, who have reinforced their side with the recent signings of Didier Drogba and Wesley Sneijder.

Catalan giants FC Barcelona will square off against Beckham's Paris St-Germain, who already beat off Spanish opposition Valencia in the last sixteen.

Newcomers Málaga, meanwhile, will play Germany's Borussia Dortmund — the tournament's surprise package after they finished ahead of Rel Madrid and Manchester City in the group stages .
