This is the very best beach in Europe. And here's why...

It's official: Spain is home to the best beach in Europe. 

Playa de Ses Illetes on the smallest Balearic Island of Formentera has been crowned the best beach on the continent by review website TripAdvisor

The slip of white sand on the picturesque island, which lies close to Ibiza, has wowed visitors from all over the world, but what makes it the very best beach in Europe?

Beautiful
 
"Beautiful colours, the water is so clear that it looks like the boats are floating on air. It is just like the Caribbean, tranquil and full of beautiful nature."

The beach is located on the northern tip of land of the smallest Balearic Island, Formentera.
