Nine brilliant tips to help you land your dream job in Spain in 2016
The start of a new year is the perfect time to think about making a change and chase your career dreams. Here are some tips that should help you along the way.
Keywords are key
Think about the keywords used in your CV, especially in online platforms such as LinkedIn. What are the words that best define me? How do I want recruiters to find me on the internet/job portals/data bases?

Keep it clean
Keep a clean profile on social media because it is more than likely that any future employer might research you online. So make sure what you have been posting on twitter and facebook isn't going to put anyone off.
Tailor your application
Personalise your applications, making sure you are well informed about the company you are applying to and their surrounding environment
Be consistent
Make sure the CV you submit matches your online profile. Any discrepancies throw up a red flag. It could mean you’ll be asked some hard questions in the interview, or at worst your CV will be removed from consideration.

Be realistic
Keep your expectations realistic: your dream job shouldn't be a position that only one person in the world can have, like being the Public Relations Officer for your favourite football team. You might have a dream job for 2016 that is a step on the path to your lifelong dream job at a point in the future.
Practice makes perfect
Don't only apply for your dream job, or you will have no opportunity to practice. See every interview as an opportunity to practice. Always ask for feedback and learn from your mistakes.
Expect failure
Expect that you will not be successful in all recruitment processes and decide how you will use the answer "No" to your advantage in future

Be prepared
Many interviews are conducted by video nowadays - practice the relevant body language and communication techniques for that media.
Be nice
It may seem obvious but be friendly and positive in all contact. Bear in mind that recruiters hire people that they want to spend time with.
