Spain's El Celler de Can Roca was recently named the world's second best restaurant. The Local has rounded up all the restaurants that made the top 50 to give you an overview of the best places to eat in Spain.

The coveted World's 50 Best Restaurants list for 2014 was recently released and features seven Spanish restaurants, including three in the top ten.

From cutting-edge Basque to techno-emotional Spanish and beyond, the best restaurants in Spain showcase a wide variety of high-quality cuisine.

Notable dishes include baby eels, inside out eggs, and ice shreds with scarlet shrimp perfume. With this wide variety of unique entrees, rest assured that dinner at these restaurants will be anything but ordinary.
